From September 22 to 23, 2026, Adullam Consulting accompanied a BIS ISI factory inspection at a manufacturer's plant in Thailand, providing on-site support to the client.

India mandates BIS certification for products designated under its Quality Control Orders (QCOs). For products under the ISI mark scheme, overseas manufacturers must undergo a factory inspection in which a BIS officer visits the plant in person to verify its production facilities, quality control system and testing capability.

The inspection was carried out over two days:

  • Day 1: Opening meeting, production line tour, laboratory review and drawing of test samples

  • Day 2: Witness testing in the presence of the BIS officer and inspection documentation

Ahead of the inspection, we provided the client with a bilingual (Korean/English) guide to preparation requirements, and during the inspection we supported the client on site with the officer's queries and documentation. We will continue to support the follow-up process, from the test results of the drawn samples through to the grant of the licence.
